Texas Roadhouse - Odessa: Authentic Steaks, Fresh Sides & Lively Atmosphere

On Friday, my husband and I had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant, where I decided to try their rib eye steak. Although the steak was cooked to perfection, I found the fatty content to be excessive, which was not in line with my expectations. However, I was impressed with the freshness of the horseradish and the warm welcome bread, which was served fresh. Furthermore, the atmosphere was lively, thanks to the waitress's dance routine, which was performed every 45 minutes. We intend to dine there again in the future.

Food was very good. Had the 23oz porterhouse steak, wife had sirloin. We both had shrimp. Shrimp were PERFECT. Her sirloin was cooked a little better than mine. Service was great. The bartender was on top of it as we ate at bar. Atmosphere can be loud, but Friday night. Got there early at 445p, and already a 45min wait.

Took my mom here tonight for her 70th birthday (her choice). Parking lot seemed super busy but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Jo was our server and she was fabulous!! She was attentive, friendly, and on point from start to finish. My mom and I both ordered Ribeye and ribs combination with sides. All was delicious and cooked perfectly! Highly recommend the food, atmosphere, and Jo!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down, one of the best Texas Roadhouse experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, we were met with a packed house—but shockingly, we were seated immediately. That kind of efficiency when it’s slammed busy? Unreal. Our server, Naomi, was an absolute gem—warm, attentive, and totally on top of her game. She let us know up front that the kitchen was a bit behind due to the rush, but her honesty and great attitude made all the difference. We didn’t even mind the wait—especially with the endless, warm, fluffy bread and that addicting cinnamon butter keeping us company. Let’s talk food: The Grilled BBQ Chicken? Tender, juicy, and slathered in bold, smoky sauce. The 8oz Strip? Perfectly charred, seasoned like a pro, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Sweet Potato loaded with toasted marshmallows? Basically dessert disguised as a side. That fully loaded baked potato? Fluffy, buttery, and piled high with cheese and bacon. House salad was fresh, crisp, and loaded with toppings—not just an afterthought. This location (Odessa)knows how to run a tight ship. Even with a packed dining room and non-stop flow of guests, the staff was upbeat and everything ran smoothly. Bonus points for the peanut buckets and hand-cut steak display—classic Texas Roadhouse charm. We’ll 100% be back, and we’ll be asking for Naomi again. She made our visit feel like VIP treatment. If you’re in the area, skip the chains and come here. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next trip back.

The food was good, but I love the bread, my steak was a little too salty, they have a lot of waiters, but the service is not very fast, it took us almost an hour from being seated to eating my main course, in fact, by the time I got my steak, I was already full, the fried onion was really big! Crispy and delicious! My children loved it, the manager was friendly and attentive, and gave us an extra bag of peanuts to take away, overall the price is very affordable, the ingredients are fresh, will come back.

What a fun restaurant! The service was excellent. The food was good too. The fried pickles were delicious. I loved how the staff danced too. Great experience all together.
